Almost 1000 teenage girls become mums in Northern Ireland each year but with the help of Fixers, a charity helping young people to use their past to fix the future, Rebecca Finlay says they should not give up their future.
The 20-year-old Castledawson mum said: “When I was 18, I had my whole life ahead planned. I was going to go to be a teacher, I was going to take a gap year and go to India and then after my A Levels, I found out I was pregnant.
“In that moment I thought my life was over. I just thought I’d ruined everything. I couldn’t see that this baby was going to be a blessing in our lives.
